Choir practices are Mondays, 3:30-4:30 pm!
Our winter program will be Dec. 12th !!
Right now in choir, we are practicing songs for our winter program on December 12th. I will provide links to practice the videos at home below!
Performance Order
"In the Holiday Spirit"
"Hot Chocolate!"
"Hanukkah O Hanukkah"
"Santa's Gettin' Fit For Christmas"
"We Wish You a Swingin' Holiday"
For all of the songs, I want students to focus on 'getting the words out', or singing fast enough. Some of them are quick because they are a bit jazzy, but we're going to have so much fun singing them!

This song is 'Hot chocolate!" It isn't the polar express one, it's a bit easier. But it is going to be SO fun to perform together. In the beginning of this song, there is a section labeled as part 1 and 2. All students will sing these parts. The only section we will sing in parts begins at time mark 1:28 seconds. Student will know which parts to sing! Part 1: Hot, hot choc'late : Students that are in groups 1 and 2 on the risers will sing this part. Part 2: Sss make it steamy, etc: Students in groups 3 and 4 on the risers sing this. Part 3: Marshmellows are floating...: Students in groups 5 and 6 on the risers will sing this part. |

"We Wish You a Swingin' Holiday" This song also splits into parts at one point! From the beginning of the song until the time mark 1:50 seconds, all students will sing all parts. Then, at 1:50, the song splits into sections. Students who are in groups 1, 2, and 3 on the risers will sing the top slide; "we wish you a swingin' holiday" Students who are in groups 4, 5, and 6 on the risers will sing the bottom slide, the "Shoobee Doobees". |
